BIO

Chloe Sirene is an award-winning actor who was given her first lead in a feature film by director Jan Dunn, after meeting her in a Kinkos store. Chloe played a refugee from the Czech republic in this award-winning project, Gypo, and has collaborated several times since with Jan Dunn. Chloe has also worked with other notable directors including Paul Greengrass (BAFTA winner, Academy Award nominee) and Peter Mackie Burns (Golden Berlin Bear winner). She has worked in film, television, theater, radio and voiceover. 

 

Chloe trained in acting at Sylvia Young Theater School, London, and the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, London. After completing her English Literature MA at Cambridge University, England, she went on to study acting with such teachers as Anthony Abeson (Technique and Scene Study) and Sheila Gray (Sensory work and Advanced Scene Study/Improv) and continues to take regular classes. 

 

Her work has been described in the press as 'a revelation' and 'phenomenal'. The pieces Chloe has acted in have been nominated for Academy Awards and have won at the BAFTAs, the British Independent Film awards and the London Independent Film awards, amongst others. They have been editor's picks in publications such as The Guardian and The New York Times. 

 

Chloe speaks some Greek, French, and Spanish and she is skilled in accents.

Chloe has dual US/UK citizenship. She is currently writing a feature film screenplay and enjoys collaborating with others on new projects.
